Louise Coston Courtney
Louise Coston Courtney, 97, of Moneta, VA, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Runk & Pratt, Smith Mountain Lake Retirement Village. Born November 18, 1915 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Isaac James Coston and Allena May Holden Coston.
Louise enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cooking.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by three brothers, William Coston, James Coston, and Charles Coston; and one sister, Dorothy Coston Swinler. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Dorr (Stephen) of Moneta; a granddaughter, Courtney Channell (Jeff) of Ft.Mill, SC; two stepgrandchildren, Barbara McLendon (Mike) of S. Pasadena, CA and Bob Dorr (Susan) of San Antonio, TX; five great-grandchildren, Reese Channell of Ft. Mill, SC, Ian McLendon and Andrew McLendon both of S. Pasadena, CA, Sara Dorr and Lydia Dorr both of San Antonio, TX; and a niece, Ruth Perencivich (Nick) of NH.
