Louise Campbell Bersch

Louise Campbell Bersch, 91, of Forest, died Saturday, November 12, 2011. She was the wife of the late Baxter G. Bersch.

Louise was born, April 27, 1920 in Forest, a daughter of the late Houston B. Campbell and Sallie North Campbell. She was a lifelong member of Fort Hill United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Bersch and wife, Marilyn of Greensboro, NC. Grandchildren: Laurie Gattis and husband, Jonathan of Charlotte, NC, Meredith McDaniel and husband, Ben, of Davidson, NC, and Madeline Stanford, and husband, Ryan, of Lexington Park, MD. Great grandchildren: Sophie and Baxter Gattis, Grady and Jude McDaniel. Nieces and nephews: June Taylor and husband, Donald, Betty Brown and husband, Ray, Vince Witt, and wife, Ann, all of Forest, and Mary Potter, and husband, the late Doug Potter, of Lynchburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews from her husband\"™s side of the family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Leonard Campbell and Marion Campbell, and her sisters: Sue Campbell Puckett, Myrtle Campbell, Alma Campbell Witt, and Mary Jane Campbell.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, November 14, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
