Lloyd Wayne Givens

Lloyd Wayne Givens passed away at his residence on September 24, 2026, in Madison Heights, Virginia. He was born on February 17, 1947, in Waiteville, West Virginia, to the late Bud B. Givens and Gladys H. Givens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice L. Givens.

Lloyd dedicated 43 years of service to BWXT and, following his retirement, went on to spend 15 years at Central Virginia Community College.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia W. Givens; his daughter, Holly G. Ondrick (Robbie); his son, Darren Givens (Patti); his sister, Sheila Collins (Sandy); and his sisters-in-law, Joey Thompson and Bobbie Doherty. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Koryn Gonzalez (Esa), Shayn Johnson (Carissa), McKenzie Givens (Jacob), and McKalyn Givens (David).

His family takes great comfort in knowing that Lloyd’s spirit is now in Craig County—sitting on the cabin porch with the Shannon Hardwick hunting crew, sharing stories and telling hunting tales.
