Linda Lee Wright Ritchey

Linda Lee Wright Ritchey, 76, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026. She was the wife of the late Ross Robert Ritchey.

Linda was born August 25, 1949, in Richmond, Virginia, a daughter of the late William Lamont Wright and Mary Virginia Albright Wright. Linda retired from the Virginia Retirement System and found immense joy in spending time with her beloved pets, Rudy, Lucky, and Missy. Linda shared her love for animals with her family.

One of seven daughters, she was preceded in death by her sisters Virginia Rose Walton, Billye Wright Livermore, Peggy Wright Snyder, and Kimberly Wright Malone and is survived by her sisters Lynn Wright Dobson of Midlothian, Virginia, and Patricia Wright Baltes of Boydton, Virginia.

A visitation to remember Linda will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
