Lillie Deaner

Lillie Deaner, 93, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on June 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of the late John and Mary Harrell and wife of the late Clarence Deaner, Sr.

Lillie is survived by her children, Barry Deaner (Judy), Brenda Hurt (J. Paul); 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lillie is predeceased in death by her children, Clarence Deaner, Jr., Glen Deaner, and Cynthia Friend; grandchild, Bryan Deaner; sisters, Mary White and Frances Moon; and brother, John Harrell.

The family will be holding a private service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions be made to The American Heart Association.
