Lewis Allen Dickenson, 15, of Montvale, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012. Born December 12, 1996; he was a son of William E. \"Billy\" and Marion Long Dickenson.
Allen was a student at Liberty High School. He enjoyed working on cars and riding motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, Allen is survived by paternal grandfather, Thomas J. Dickenson; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Long Crowe; brother, Matthew Dickenson and girlfriend Cheyenne Franklin; nephew, Austyn Wyatt Dickenson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; a host of special friends; and his girlfriend, Elizabeth \"Lizzy\" Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 PM, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Chapel with Pastor Butch Hammond officiating. The family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Tharp Funeral Home. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 540-586-3443.
