Lawrence Edward “Butch” Defibaugh, 70, of Lynchburg, died Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was the husband of the late Dreama Carlene Schultz Defibaugh.
Butch was born November 30, 1950 in Garten, WV. He was the son of the late Lawrence Delford Defibaugh and the late Wilma Annadeane Pennington. He was member of Amazing Grace Ministries.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shelby Defibaugh.
He is survived by his daughters, Brandy Grishaw and her husband, Mark, and Brenda Mabry; his son, John Ward, Sr.; grandchildren, Cody Mabry and wife, Stephanie, Ashleigh Eldridge and husband, Jovon, Destiny Grishaw and Noah, Kandace Ehrhorn and husband, Ted, John Ward, Jr, Hilei Ward, Gage Ward; and great-grandchildren, Theo, Mia, Ace, Caleb, Camren, and Aaliyah.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bill Evans officiating.
