Laura Ann Lavigne, 58, of Bedford, Virginia, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Laura was the daughter of Minnie Pearl Lavigne and Donald Edwin Lavigne Sr. She was a cherished mother, devoted grandmother, loving sister, aunt, and beloved friend. Laura had a kind and caring heart and was always there for the people she loved.

She leaves behind her daughter, Felicia Sines and her boyfriend, Alan; her son, Darik Lavigne; her granddaughter, Trinity Sines; her grandson, Bryan Lavigne, and Bryan’s mother, Hillary Ragland. Her grandchildren were truly the love and light of her life, and being their grandmother brought her immeasurable happiness. Laura is also survived by her sister, Sherry Lavigne; her brother, Donald Lavigne Jr.; her nephew, Christopher Lavigne; as well as many other beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and loved ones.

Laura also shared a lifelong friendship with her childhood best friend, Kay Emore, a friendship that remained special throughout the years. Laura found joy in gardening and had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved pit bull, Oscar. Laura and Oscar were inseparable, and the bond they shared was something very special. Those who knew Laura knew how deeply she loved her family. She was kind to everyone she met, a cherished mother, a devoted grandmother, and a beloved friend who could always be counted on to be there when someone needed her. Throughout her life, Laura held strong to her faith in God. Her faith remained a source of strength and comfort and was an important part of the woman she was. Laura will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Although her absence leaves an immeasurable space in the hearts of her family and friends, the love she gave so freely will remain with them. Her memory will live on through her children and grandchildren, the family and friends she treasured, the gardens she loved, and the countless memories shared with her. Her love was a gift, her faith was her strength, and her family was her greatest joy.
