Larry went to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 18, 2011 after a courageous and lengthy battle of his illnesses. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kim of Hardy; his Mother, Margaret Willis of Garden City and a son, Lee Willis and his wife, Jeanne of Bedford; a grandson, Montana Willis also of Bedford.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Peaks Church & Community Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. David L. Henderson Officiating. The family will receive friends at Bedford Baptist Church from 4:00 until 5:00 following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your church in his memory or the the Bedford Humane Society. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, (540)-586-3443.
