Larry Dean Hysell, 78, of Evington, Virginia passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. He was the son of the late Obie Ernest and Mary Rose Ewing Hysell

Larry was born on May 8, 1947, in Kirksville, Missouri. He enlisted in the United States Navy in June of 1964 through July 1973 then reenlisted from September 1974 through March 1977

He was a contractor and roofer the majority of his life. He loved to dance, listen to music, watch old westerns and play darts.

He is survived by his daughter, Trinity Collier and husband Josh; grandchildren, Pyper and Harper Collier, numerous Nieces and Nephews

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kandace Dimas-Hysell and older brothers Ernest Hysell and Donald Hysell
