Kimberly Lanette Simpson Pugh, 62, of Madison Heights, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Kimberly was born on January 1, 1964, in Virginia. Known lovingly by many as “Nanny Kim,” she was cherished by countless people whose lives she touched. If you met her, you were family — her heart was open, her love was generous, and her presence left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lena Mae and Kenneth Simpson; her loving husband, Willie Pugh; brothers, Larry and Randy; and niece, Mandy Mutter.
Kimberly is survived by her devoted daughters, Tonya Mays (Timmy) and Amy Perdue; four cherished grandchildren, Jaelyn, Jase, Katy, and Hannah; six great-grandchildren; sister, Pam Mutter (Ronnie); special niece, Tamara Brooks (Lee); and special friends Earl and Paula Brooks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29,2026, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Tharp Funeral Home in Madison Heights.
