Kevin Lee Creasey, age 53, passed away on July 15, 2026 after a brief illness. He was born on September 4, 1972 in Lynchburg, VA. He was the son of James R. (Jim) Creasey, Jr. and Shirley Joy Creasey.

He is survived by his brother, Jeremy Scott Creasey and his wife, Elizabeth, of Richmond, VA., his nephew, Nelson Rucker Creasey and his niece, Lillian Joy Creasey, also of Richmond, VA. He was very proud to be called Uncle Kevin. He is also survived by his extended family and caregivers, Jason and Felicia Martin of Amherst, VA. and their family.

Kevin was a longtime member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church, which he enjoyed attending regularly. The last three years he attended St. Stephens Baptist Church, Amherst, VA.

Kevin was employed with Lynchburg Sheltered Industries for 24 years and the last 3 years attended The ARC of Central VA.

A funeral service will be at 11:00am, Thursday, July 23 at Tharp Funeral Home, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg with burial to follow at Virginia Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution to The ARC of Central VA., 1508 Bedford Avenue, Lynchburg, VA. 24504 or a charity of your choice.
