Kevin C. Barnett was born August 10, 1978, in Lynchburg, Va. He passed away December 16, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Barnett; grandmother, Marie Barnett; grandfather, Bill Barnett and grandfather, Edward Osborne.
He is survived by his son, Avonte A. Barnett; his sister, Dena Y. Ware; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Smith; step-father, Charles H. Smith; grandmother, Lula Osborne; aunt, Ruth Burford (Herman); uncle, Bobby (Etta Jane) and aunt Sharon Barnett; and a host of other relatives, including aunts, uncles, as well as a large family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, December 23, 2016, at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights at 2 p.m.
