Kenton Deon Hubbard, 47, of Evington, Virginia, departed this life on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Born on September 10, 1978, Kenton was the son of Roy and Linda Hubbard. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Marie Farmer, Mattie Pannell, and J.B. Hubbard.

Kenton received his education through the Campbell County School System. He dedicated many years of his career to the concrete and construction industry and was employed by Counts and Dobyns, Inc. at the time of his passing.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are three brothers, Jeff Hubbard (Dana) of Evington, Virginia, Troy Hubbard (Mari) of Columbia, South Carolina, and Breon Hubbard of Lynchburg, Virginia; two nieces, Kayla Hubbard and Takara Dews; one nephew, Rondell Dews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Kenton loved nothing more than his family and friends. He possessed a big heart and compassionate spirit that made his loyalty to the people he cared about unwavering. Though he has departed from this earthly life, Kenton’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 6, 2026 at Chapel Grove Baptist Church at 12:00P.M.. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Mr. Hubbard will be availiable for pubic viewing on Sunday, July 5, 2026 from 1:00P.M. - 5:00P.M. at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg Location. as well as hour prior to the service at Chapel Grove. Repast to follow services in the Chapel Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Center.

The family will be receiving friends daily from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. daily at the residence of brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Dana Hubbard, 1474 Chapel Grove Rd, Evington, VA.
