Kenneth Earl Moore, 85, of Lynchburg, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2025, at Heritage Green Assisted Living. He was born in California on July 9, 1940, to the late Donald Ware Moore and Caroline McIntyre Moore.
Kenneth worked as a dedicated engineer at Areva for many years before retiring. He also was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his children, Debbie Panell (Rob) and John “Roc” Moore (Annabelle); grandchildren, Greg and Sydney and brother-in-law, Jim.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Virginia Memorial Park.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, is assisting the family.
