Keith Alan Wilkerson

Keith Alan Wilkerson of Lynchburg, Virginia, our loving “Kepaw”, took his final breath surrounded by loved ones on August 1, 2025.

Keith was born and raised in Velma, Oklahoma and preceded by his parents Velma Pearl and Wayne Wilkerson and by his wife, Barbra Jane Wilkerson, who is surely welcoming him with a Harley Motorcycle and open arms in the embrace of eternity. Keith worked in the oil field before becoming a diesel mechanic for many years.

He is survived by his three children, Michael Kurt Lowrey, and his spouse, Shannon, of Pontiac, Illinois, Caryn Pack, and her spouse, Matthew, of Forest Virginia, and J.J. Lowrey, and his spouse, Amy, of Enid, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Tori Johnson, Mikey Lowrey, Elias Lowrey, Kolyn Lowrey, Sophia Getchell , Ali and Brandon Smith, Caleb and Ashton Pack, Aubrey Pack, Mason Pack, Jalynn Lowrey, Jayna Lowrey, and JT Lowrey; great-grandchildren: Bear Smith, Harper Smith and Robin Pack; 4 beloved chihuahuas and countless friends.

A devoted hockey enthusiast and baseball fanatic, he found joy cheering on his favorite teams. His passion for dirt track racing was unparalleled, surrounded by friends who shared his love for the sport. Another one of his great joys was riding his Harley Motorcycle with his wife up and down the east coast. Keith had a unique ability to connect with others, making friends wherever he went with his charm and country wit. He embraced everything he loved wholeheartedly, and his positive spirit left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his vibrant presence.

A celebration of Keith’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2025, at Compassion Church of the Nazarene 1737 Wards Ferry Rd. Lynchburg, VA 24502.
