Keason Laray Anderson, 35, of Lynchburg, VA, departed this life on July 29, 2026. He was born on April 19, 1991, In Lynchburg, VA to Tyra Napoleoni (Mike) and Rodney LaPrade (Teresa).

Keason attended Heritage High School in Lynchburg, VA. Affectionally known to many as “Jefe”, he was a very charismatic young man with a generous heart and a joyful spirit. His loving nature, sense of humor, and genuine presence could brighten the mood in any room he entered. He loved to spend his spare time with family and friends, as he would say “just politicking or just kicking it”. A few of his favorite pastimes included rapping, drawing, and designing clothing. He was an incredibly talented young man with a passion for sports, especially basketball and football. Keason also enjoyed spending time with his friend, Johan White creating Tic Tok videos. Above all, Keason was a loving and devoted father who truly loved and cherished his children wholeheartedly.

Keason was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Ray Anderson, and uncles, Vincent Tucker and John LaPrade, Jr.

Keason leaves to cherish his memories and is survived by his mother Tyra Napoleoni (Mike) and father, Rodney LaPrade (Teresa), maternal grandmothers, Flora Ann Anderson, Florence LaPrade and grandfathers Carson Tucker (Betty), and John LaPrade Sr, and Godfather Cecil Gilbert. He is survived by his children, Ivey Cardwell, Jahson A. Rose, and Khamazee Anderson. He is survived by siblings, Rodney LaPrade Jr, Ebony Smith, Deshawn Jackson, RodTe’dric LaPrade, and Quan Ferguson (brother by another mother). His surviving aunts, Dawn Anderson (Taj), Yvette Miles, Amanda LaPrade, Leslie LaPrade, Nikea Stone (Ryland), and Betty Ann Tucker (James). He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, an abundance of friends, and a very devoted friend, “Shanece Braxton”.

Although Keason’s physical presence may no longer grace us, his laughter and spirit will continue to inspire all that knew him. His big kid at heart will remind us of the inner child that lives within us. His presence will be greatly missed and may the memories continue to live through us.
