It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our sweet, beautiful Kayia ran into the precious arms of Jesus last Monday, July 6th at 4:30 in the afternoon.

Thank you for the endless support and prayers our family has received through the years through this journey. We ask for continued prayers as we navigate this new chapter, and we fully trust that we will see her again one day. We are truly thankful for the hope we have of Heaven. As Kayia would say; one half day at a time.

A celebration of life service will be held at Compassion Church of the Nazarene on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Stephen Willis officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 9:30 AM prior to the service. As a reflection of Kayia’s joyful spirit and at her request, we invite you to celebrate her life in bright, colorful clothing rather than black.
