Kathleen Anderson

Kathleen Alice Anderson, 78, of Lynchburg, passed away at her home Friday, January 2, 2026. She was the loving wife of Charles Barton Anderson for 56 years.

Kathleen was born on July 8, 1947, in Jamestown, New York, a daughter of the late Marshall and Ebba Friberg. In addition to her husband Bart, she is survived by a daughter Laurel Johnson and her husband Mark and their two sons Lukas and Erik of Lynchburg, Virginia, and a son Keith Anderson and his wife Gretchen and their daughter Poppy of Mercer Island, Washington.

A Memorial Service for Kathleen will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church at 1215 V.E.S. Rd. in Lynchburg with the Rev. Peter Thompson officiating.
