Karlheinz Jacob, 83, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He was the husband of Martha Ann Bartels Jacob, for 45 years.
Born Sunday, May 26, 1935 in Bochum, Germany, Karlheinz was a son of the late Paul Jacob, the late Margarete Ostriga Jacob Funk, and a stepson of the late Frank Funk.
In addition to his wife, Karlheinz is survived by a son, Michael Jacob, his wife Tami, of Lynchburg; two brothers Klaus Jacob and his wife Donna, of Northfield, MN, John Jacob also of Northfield, MN, one sister Heidi Fyke of Decatur, IL; and three granddaughters, Faith, Grace, and Joy, of Lynchburg.
A celebration of Karlheinz’s life will be conducted on Monday, July 02, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with Pastor Paul Workentine officiating.
