June Sullivan Goff of Forest joined her beloved Robert Bowman Goff on June 26, 2019. At 97 years old, she lived a long and happy life.
She is survived by her sister Mitzi Comfere of Florida. She is also mourned by her three children; Bob Goff (Ellen), Jim Goff, Carol Goff Massie (Jeff). In addition, she has six grandchildren; Robi Goff, Chris Goff, Bonnie Nasuta, Steven Massie (Stephanie), Sarah Bell (Leland), Laura Moore (Richard). She will be missed by her 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
June received her master’s degree from Kings College in Biology and worked as a Medical Technologist. She continued her interest in her work and study of medicine and science. She was a member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church.
June’s family would like to thank Heritage Green of Lynchburg for their kindness and support in her final 6 months.
A memorial service will be held at 12 :00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, VA.
