June Marie Martin

June Marie Martin, loving daughter of deceased parents George and Annie Maddox Martin, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 9, 2012 following a long illness.

Her numerous family, friends and loved ones will miss this angel and all the joy, love and humor she gave each of us. Only God\"™s mercy and grace can comfort those left behind as June takes her rightful place in God\"™s Holy Choir.

 June is survived by Sisters; Jane Stephenson and her husband Virgil and her daughters Cindy Bowman and Heather Bennett; Jean Gowen and her children Zachariah, Bernie & Lisa Gowen; and Joan Martin; and Sister-in-law, Diane Martin, wife of deceased brother Rev. Bill Martin, and her daughters Dana Martin, Rhonda Dodson and Stacy Saunders. Aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and close loved friends are too numerous to list.   Just know she loved each one dearly and could always remember your birthdays and anniversaries.

 A special thank you to aunts, Edyth Mullagh and husband Joe; Helen Nuzzie; Uncle Monty Maddox and wife Betty; Tara Gowen; Pat Bauman and dear friend Marilyn Holsapple for all their love and support.

 Joe Boatwright and Miss Kitty, June\"™s sidekick, will miss her dearly.

Family visitation will be on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A Celebration of June\"™s life will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Dave Cash and Rev. Lawrence Greep officiating.
