June Marie Brown Wilson, 79, of Vinton passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023. She was born on June 3, 1944, in Bedford, VA to the late Lester Brown and Vivian Wheeler Brown. She was the loving wife to the late Robert Shannon Wilson.
June loved her cats and anything to do with antiquing. She especially liked to find and refurnish furniture. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Darrell Alan Wilson (DJ), Cristi Piersma (Brian); grandchildren, Kenny Wilson (Danyelle), Angel Dively (Daniel), Shannon Wilson (Dana) and Taylor Wilson; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Trinity, Gage, Beckett, Riley, Mason, Abbie and Maddie; sister, Carol Breneman; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
No services are being held at this time. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, is assisting family.
