Judithia Dunn

Judithia “Judy” Ann Workman Dunn, 80, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed July 1, 2026, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.

Judithia was born January 31, 1946, in West Virginia.

Judy loved spending time with family and friends. She had a love and passion for flowers and painting.

She will join her late husband of 48 years, Ralph Hubert Dunn, Sr., son Ralph Hubert Dunn, Jr., grandson William Dunn, father Alton Workman, mother Runa Workman, along with late brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son John and daughter Renee, as well as five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren who called her Granny.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Eastbrook Baptist Church located at 3050 Eastbrook Rd, Lynchburg, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Eastbrook Baptist Church.

Special thanks to Pastor Kurtis Walkup and wife Donna Walkup for their love, friendship and support over the years. A special thanks to the ICU nurses and doctors for their support, love and compassion in caring for her in her recent stay at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. A special thanks to Emily (Jeremy’s fiancé) for her love and support of our mother over the years.
