Judith Elaine Unroe, 66, of Altavista, VA, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
Born Thursday, September 30, 1948, in Lynchburg, Judith was a daughter of the late Louis West and the late Mildred Grubbs West.
Judith is survived by her children: Kimberly Smith and her husband, Barry, of Altavista, Christie Wood of Altavista, Eddie Unroe and his wife, Christie of Lynchburg, and
Michalle Unroe, of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren; two sisters: Sandy Milton and her husband, Earl of Lynchburg, and Kathy Helms, of Lynchburg; and numerous loving friends.
In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by a brother James West.
Judith was a loving mother and doting grandmother. She was an avid reader. Judith made friends easily and her friends were an important part of her life.
A visitation and celebration of Judith’s life will be held from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM tomorrow, Friday, January 16, 2015, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg
