Judith Carol Gregory Eckman, 67, of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at her residence in Roanoke. She was born on April 4, 1951 in Roanoke, VA. A daughter of the late Robert E. Gregory and Aline B. Gregory. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gregory, Jr.
Judy was formerly a co-owner of Spikes Bar & Grill in Roanoke. She enjoyed reading and watching horror films. Judy also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandson Josh. Judy had the kindest heart and left her children to carry on her legacy of putting kindness into the world. She was funny and told the greatest stories and she will be sadly and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Judy is survived by her three children, Ted Cuddy and his wife, Teresa, Tammy Lynn Heddings and her husband, Troy, and Teresa Ann Conley; four grandchildren, Anthony Mason Heddings, Taylor Nicole Heddings, Jacob Cuddy and Joshua Musgrove; one brother, Norman Gregory; sister, Deborah “Debbie” Hines and her husband, Gary; also numerous nieces, nephews and many dear and lifelong friends.

A memorial service and celebration of Judy’s life will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at her daughter, Tammy Lynn Heddings’ home. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Roanoke is assisting the family.
