John Edward Wooldridge

John Edward Wooldridge, 72, passed away peacefully after a 20-year battle with COPD on January 21, 2026.

He was born in Lynchburg Va. On October 22, 1953. He was preceded in death by Thomas Jame Wooldridge his father, Ruby Wooldridge and a son Ray Edward Snow.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rhonda Wooldridge, a son Jeffery Johns, Daisy Johns and Olivia and a close friend of the family June Rose and 3 brothers Walter, Mike, Aubrey and wives Linda, Sungmi and Gawri. He has 2 stepsons Joshua and wife jenny Powell and Brandon Powell. Also survived by his grandchildren, Blake, Jay, Jordan, kylie, Aurora, and Zayden. He was an avid Nascar fan whose hobby was building Nascar models. He lived his life taking care of others and traveling the country as an over-the-road truck driver. He was compassionate and to great pride in his family. His life will leave a special place in the heart of his family and friends. He will be missed.
