John Cox
November 2, 1945 — June 5, 2025
John Cox went to his heavenly home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He loved to fish and listen to music. He studied Bible prophecy and loved listening to his son, Rodney, preach.
He is survived by his wife, Estella Allen-Cox and claimed her children as his own: Cassandra Jenkins of Richmond, VA; Rodney Allen (Valerie) of Lynchburg, VA; and Antoinette Davis (Donald) of Lynchburg, VA; and five children including John and Joey. He is survived by a host of relatives including grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on July 12, 2025 at the Pate Chapel 100 Mountain View Dr Lynchburg VA. 24502.
Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
