Jerry Noell Farlow

Jerry Noell Farlow, 80, of Goode, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026. She was the loving wife of 48 years, of the late James Irvin Farlow, Sr.

Jerry was born on May 20, 1945, in Lynchburg, Virginia a daughter of the late Jesse Ayers Noell, Sr. and Lewis Morton Noell.

She is survived by her son James Irvin Farlow, Jr., of Goode, three grandchildren: Jonathan Farlow, Amanda Farlow, and Haden Farlow, and her four-legged companion “Daisy Mae", stepdaughter, Kim McFaden Lee and her husband Alvin, and step granddaughters Alysun Wade and Bethany McFaden, and step great grandchildren, Gwen Wade, Hudson Wade, and Ahnova Williams. She is also survived by sisters-in-law. Patricia Farlow Largen, Peggy Farlow Brooks and her husband Steve, and brother-in-law Michael Farlow, Sr. and his wife Martha, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by both her in-laws, Irvin Grant Farlow and Eleanor Hogan Farlow, as well as sisters, Emily Noell Patton and Lou Noell Driskill, a brother, Jesse Ayers Noell, Jr, and beloved nephew, John Patrick Driskill.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.

A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating.

The family would like to express deep gratitude to the nurses and doctors at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital's Palliative Care Unit for their patient and loving care of Jerry in her final days.
