Jeremy Edward Morgan, 43, of Lynchburg, Virginia, peacefully went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2026. He was born on March 10, 1983, in Karlsruhe, Germany, and moved to the United States at the age of two.
Jeremy was a loving father, devoted brother, cherished partner, and loyal friend. He was loved and adored by so many who had the privilege of knowing him. Jeremy had a kind and unforgettable spirit that touched the lives of those around him, and his love, laughter, and memories will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Above all, Jeremy was a proud father who loved his son deeply and cherished the bond they shared.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Gail Pannell; his grandparents, Ethel Virginia Callaham and John Houston Callaham; and his aunts, Gaynail Vaughn Fowler Pinn and Maudell Pollard.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his beloved son, Dai’Shaun Kaleb Wright of Forest, Virginia; his brother, Maurice Pannell of Lynchburg, Virginia; his devoted brother-in-love, Jared Lee Pannell and his wife, Cherry, of Chesapeake, Virginia; his uncles, Clayton Fowler and his wife, Betty, and Ricky Scott and his wife, Tracey; his loving girlfriend, Kamelia Dunston Bryant; along with numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
The family extends their deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Tharp Funeral Home for their compassion, kindness, and support during this difficult time. Your care and assistance have been deeply appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Pisgah Church, located at 11612 Leesville Road, Evington, Virginia 24550.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that those who wish to honor Jeremy’s memory consider making a memorial contribution to assist with the costs of cremation and other services provided by the funeral home. To make memorial contributions, please call Tharp Funeral Home at 434-237-9424 Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm or may be mailed to 220 Breezewood Dr. Lynchburg, VA 24502.
Though Jeremy may be gone from our sight, he will never be forgotten. His love, his laughter, his strength, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His greatest legacy will always be the love he had for his son and the impact he made on the lives of those around him.
May Jeremy rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord until we meet again.
