Jane Elizabeth Lopinsky

Jane Lopinsky, 66, of Madison Heights, Virginia, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of the late Harlan Kees and Mary Kees.

Jane was born on May 15, 1960, in Beckley, West Virginia.

Above all else, Jane cherished her family. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with the people she loved. She was a devoted fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Kansas City Chiefs and loved cheering them on alongside her family. Jane also had a deep love for music and treasured attending concerts, where she created countless joyful memories with family and friends. She embraced life with enthusiasm and found happiness in sharing special moments with those she loved most.

Jane spent many years with Mary Kay, where she found great fulfillment in helping others feel confident and beautiful. She treasured the relationships she built with her clients and took genuine pride in helping them achieve their beauty goals. Her kindness, warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering ability to make others feel welcomed, loved, and valued left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Jane is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Michael Lopinsky; her son, Jason Lopinsky, and his wife, Sabrina Lopinsky; her sister, Debby Dotson; her dear family friends, Dawn Pool and her husband, John Pool; her beloved godchildren, Jill Brown, Natalie Pool, and Carter Pool; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Marissa Lopinsky.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charitable organization of your choice in Jane’s honor. Jane was known for her generosity and compassionate spirit, and she would have been grateful to know that her memory continues to inspire kindness and hope in the lives of others.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family.
