Irma Stiltner Reynolds

Irma Stiltner Reynolds, 86, of Roanoke, VA passed away on October 19, 2025. A daughter of the late Ezra and Eleanor Stiltner of Grundy, Irma was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William “Bill” Reynolds and her brother, Paul, and sister, Jeanette Stiltner.

Irma graduated from Roanoke Memorial nursing school in 1961 starting her career as a registered nurse.

Irma loved shopping, snow skiing, bowling, and traveling. She loved making crafts and after retiring in 1999, started selling her items at craft shows with her husband, Bill, who helped her with the business.

She loved spending time with her family, frequently taking them along on vacations.

Irma is survived by her children, Kathy Stewart and her husband Marc, of Thaxton, VA and her son, Tim Reynolds and his wife Jeanna of Shawsville, VA, along with her beloved granddaughter, Megan Stewart of Maryland; and numerous other family and friends.

A celebration of Irma’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Boones Mill Christian Church, Boones Mill. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford is assisting the family.
