Ina C. Collins

Ina C. Collins, 100, of Lynchburg, VA., passed away November 23, 2024, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1924, to the late Earl H. and Bertha S. Conner of Millersburg, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Benjamin (Ben) Collins and two sisters, Lulu C. Frazier and Mona C. Horner of Ohio.

Survivors include two sons, David E. Collins of Deltaville, Va and Michael R. Collins of Lynchburg, Va; two daughters, Janet C. Couch (RD) of Lynchburg and Barbara E. Collins of Forest. Survivors also include four grandchildren, Daniel M. (Matt), Ore (Meagan), and Carrie E. Ore (GW) of Lynchburg. Jacoby L. Jarvis of Deltaville, Va. and Jessica L. Jarvis of Winston Salem, NC.

Ina retired from Nationwide Insurance and was a member of Forest Baptist Church.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11 A.M. at Tharp Funeral Home with Chaplain Wayne Lanham officiating. A gathering of friends and family will follow the service. A private interment will be held at Virginia Memorial Park at a later time.
