Hubert "HV" Vasser

Hubert “HV” Vasser, 60, of Big Island, VA left this world on August, 20, 2025 to join so many who went before him. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jennifer Vasser; his mother, Mamie Lorraine Harris; his brother Doug Harris; his sister, Linda Wood; and many more whom he loved with all his heart.

HV had a huge personality and was the life of every party. He was always on the go. He loved all things outdoors and spending time with the people he loved. HV never met a stranger and considered everyone he met a friend and was loved by so many.

Hubert is survived by his children, Melissa Oliver, Nathan Vasser (Danielle), Keri Brooks (Jeffrey), and James Vasser; His sister, Bonnie Trent; and his grandchildren who called him Popel- and were his whole heart.

A visitation will be held on August 31, 2025 at 12:00 PM At Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
