Harold Lee Manley, 57, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on September 10th, 2025. He was the son of the Felix Manley and Corine Manley.
Harold was born on May 29th, 1968, in Forest, VA. He attended school at Jefferson Forest High School.
Harold is survived by his children, Tabatha Manley, Ashley Manley, Christopher Manley, Robert Manley and Alivia Manley; His grandchildren Scarlett Jackson, Julian Jackson and Malaya Jackson; His sibling Betty Vance and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Manley.
Harold was always a family man. He always put his kids and grandchildren first, that never changed. Harold was well known in the community for being a helpful hand and a loving man. He served in the Forest Fire Department and was apart of the Big Brother and Big Sister program in his earlier years. If you knew Harold, he always had a Dr. Pepper in his hand. For these reasons, we will always remember him.
A visitation will be held on the evening of Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A funeral service will be held the following day, on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, at 10 A.M. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with Pastor Martha Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Land Cemetery in Bedford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ashley, Christopher or Robert Manley.
