Grace Turner Browning of Madison Heights, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends.

She was the loving wife of William M. Browning, Sr. for 44 years and the daughter of John H. and Adelene Grant Turner all of whom preceded her in death.

She was the loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother better known as “Nanny G”.

She worked in several places over her lifetime but was known best for serving her customers at Schewel Furniture Company where she retired.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne Campbell (Pam) and her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Ware (Mike), stepson, William M. Browning, Jr. (Charlotte), her grandchildren, Joey Campbell, Eric Campbell (Jen), Brian Campbell, Amber Hensen (Nick), Shane Weakley (Jessica), Brad Weakley, Katie Browning and Mark Browning (Jennifer), 15 great grandchildren, her sister- in- laws, Frances Turner and Jean Turner. She is also survived by a very special friend, Billy Ogden ,Sr.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Ware, Jr.; granddaughter, Caroline Greggs and her brothers, Ray Turner and Junior Turner.

A memorial service will be held at Union Christian Church on June 21, 2026. Family visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and after the service. Service will be held at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Union Christian Church, 160 Parsonage Rd. Madison Heights, VA 24572.
