Glenda Overstreet Crawford

Glenda Overstreet Crawford, 75, of Bedford, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025. Glenda was born November 2, 1950, in Bedford County, Virginia, a daughter of the late James Harrison Overstreet and Nellie Virginia Orange Overstreet.

Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Eddie Crawford; son, Kevin Crawford; grandson, Christopher Crawford; siblings, Carolyn Biggs (Johnny), Ronnie Overstreet, Donnie Overstreet, Ricky Overstreet, David Overstreet (Kathy), Delores Presnell, Rhonda Toms; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family and close friends.

Glenda never met a stranger and loved to talk to everyone. She loved flowers, shopping at Goodwill, and Flea Markets. Glenda loved her family and cherished her time with them.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Tharp Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Earl Ragland officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 12:00 pm, at Tharp Funeral Chapel Bedford.
