Gary Lynn Chisom

Gary Lynn Chisom, 66, of Goodview, Virginia, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Donald, Sr., and Sarah Chisom; sister, Bonnie Ledbetter; and brothers, Dale Chisom and Charles “Alan” Chisom.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Nichole Adams, and her husband Mitchell “JR”, three amazing grandchildren, Madison, Makayla,and Maycy Adams; brothers, Donald “Buddy” Chisom, Jr., and wife Kristen, and James “Lester” Chisom, and wife Vickie; sisters, Brenda Davis, and husband Ricky, Lisa Alley, and husband Greg; wife, Tina Chisom; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a large extended family. As well as multiple friends at his favorite hang out “Hop-In” and friends made while pursuing his love of cars.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the first responders who were there to assist. They have all shown great compassion for the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local volunteer rescue squad or fire department.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
