Gail Drumheller Kenny

Gail Drumheller Kenny, age 78, passed away unexpectedly at the University of Virginia Medical Center on April 30, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Kathryn Drumheller.

Gail is survived by her husband of 59 years, Chuck; children, Patrick and Karin; grandchildren, Sammy, Jacob, and Benjamin; and bother, Earl. She also leaves behind a host of friends and colleagues who loved her very much.

Gail practiced Nursing for 42 years. The majority of her career was spent in the Lynchburg General Hospital Emergency Department, where she provided excellent care to all her patients. Gail was a faithful friend – someone who stood by those she loved with loyalty, warmth, and a listening ear. Her kindness extended far beyond her work, reaching family, friends, and anyone fortunate enough to know her.
