Frances Jewell Clingempeel Reed, 99, of Bedford, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 in Lynchburg Health & Rehab. She was born July 7, 1910 in Union, Virginia, a daughter of the late John Clingempeel and Ottie \"Danny\" Leftwich Clingempeel. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by, her husband, Victor Williamson Reed; one daughter, Victoria Reed; seven brothers and sisters. Frances was a member of Union United Methodist Church. She loved and adored all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her one son, Robert Ayres of Fla.; one brother, John Clingempeel of NY; nine grandchildren, Theresa, Rick, Mike, Debbie, Philip, Lindsay, Travis, Valerie Lynn and Michael; numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Union United Methodist Church,
