Faye Cole Crawford

Mrs. Faye Cole Crawford, 77, of Forest, Virginia died at her home after a long illness on Sunday, March 18, 2012.  She was the wife of the late Guy E. Crawford.  Faye was born on July 21, 1934 in Lynchburg, Virginia, the daughter of the late Clarence and Jessie Cole.

 

Faye was a graduate of E. C. Glass High School.  She was a branch manager for Sun Trust Bank for many years.  She was an active member of American Business Women's Association.  Her greatest joy in life was her three grandchildren.  She also treasured her time spent with her nieces and nephews who will always cherish those memories and her friendship.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

 Faye is survived by her son, Christopher Ray Anderson of Monroe, her daughter, Leigh Anderson Harlow, her son-in-law, Timothy Wayne Harlow, of Lovingston, three grandchildren, Timothy Hunter Harlow, Courtney Allyson Harlow, and Grayson Cody Harlow.  She is also survived by a brother, Charles B. Cole, Sr. and a sister-in-law, Florence S. Cole, of Goode, a sister, Dolores Cole Davis, and a brother-in-law, Robert D. Davis of Lynchburg, four nieces and 13 nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Kenneth Cole.

 The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg on Wednesday, March 21, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Services will be conducted Thursday, March 22, at 11:00 AM at Tharp Funeral Home by the Reverend John Thompson. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park
