Ethel Whorley Collier

Ethel Adeline Whorley Collier, 82, of Forest, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Born January 5, 1930, in Bedford County; she was a daughter of the late Sam Whorley and Ruby Tolley Whorley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray, Sammy, Cedric, and George; and three sisters, Elsie Adams, Louise Hodnett, and Sadie Story.

Ethel is survived by sons, Robert Goff, Warren Goff, Stephen Goff, and Hubert Goff; daughters, Susan Windsor and Ruth Arthur and husband, Robert; a brother, Larry Whorley; sisters, Rachel Wright, Brenda Peters, Barbara McKinney, and Nancy Whorley; ten grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah\"™s Witness. The family will receive friends following the service. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, (540)-586-3443, is assisting the family.
