Eric Christopher Moss, the son of Gary and Janice Moss was born on November 16,1972. Eric was called to be present with the Lord on March 31, 2026.

Eric Moss was a loving and caring man that loved his family and friends dearly. Eric had a nickname for everyone he loved and he was a very fashionable person from his head to his feet. Eric enjoyed watching NFL faithfully, his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys along with his brother, father, and mother. Eric also enjoyed cooking, which he was an expert at and one of his favorite hobbies was cutting hair. Eric was always the life of the party and loved to capture family moments with photos.

When he was 18 , he joined the Army. Eric graduated from Altavista High School and he also was a college graduate where he received his associate degree in business.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents Silas and Bertha Moss, Marie and Lloyd Farmer, his beloved cousin/ brother Keith Witcher, his nephew Darren Moss, his nieces T’Khira Browley and Nori Ward, and his mother-in-law, Cassandra Ferguson.

Eric Moss leaves behind his devoted wife of 20 years Courtney Moss , his parents Gary and Janice Moss, and his children Tycailah Ferguson, Quinijah Slaughter, Marquise Davis (Ashley), Jamarius Davis, Queance Robinson, and E'Ziyah Moss, along with his brother Terry Moss(Stephanie),sister Lateisha Moss, grandchildren Londyn Davis, Blessyn Davis, Nehemiah Roach (unborn grandson), his sister-in-law T'Kemah Hamm, god son Nasir Brown, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, “brothers” from other mothers, and friends.

A funeral ceremony will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg Chapel at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Tharp Funeral Home between the hours of 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
