Elizabeth Logwood Hall, 88, of Evington, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Born in Campbell County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Onnie Ray Logwood and Dorothy McKinney Logwood. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Jackson Hall.

Elizabeth dedicated her life to caring for others, working for many years as a Certified Nurse at Autumn Care in Altavista, Virginia. Her compassion, kindness, and gentle nature left a lasting impression on her patients, colleagues, and everyone who knew her.

A faithful member of Evington United Methodist Church since 1949, Elizabeth found strength in her faith and in her church family.

She is survived by her children, Vicky Burnette, Janet Evers (Harvey), and Kendall Hall (Quinn); six grandchildren, Bryan Lister, Nathan Lister, Heather King, Stuart Evers, Isabella Hall, and Danielle Hall; six great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Johnson (Turner), Kaden Evers, Makayla King, Devyn Lister, Erica Agee, and Lilly Altice; her brother, Roy Logwood (Yvonne) and sister-in-law, Brenda Logwood and Marie Scheurman; and brother-in-law, Gene Hall. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline L. Elliott and brothers, Woodrow Logwood, Archie Logwood, and Samuel Logwood. Elizabeth will also be remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss her warmth and presence.

A funeral service will be held at Evington Church on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 3 P.M., with Pastor Marvin Busie officiating. Interment will follow in Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 7P.M. to 9 P.M.

At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Evington Church or a charity of your choice.
