Dorothy Mae Scott, 65, of Lynchburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Dorothy was born on November 16, 1959, in Farmville, VA, to Thomas McDaniel and the late Della Scott McDaniel.
In addition to her father, she leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Kabrina Scott and Keshawn Scott; three bonus children, Frank Turpin, Valerie Turpin, and Crystal Mays; grandchildren, Shanita Turpin, MaKira Turpin, Azaria Jackson, Janiyah Ware, Keiondre Scott, Dontae Reynolds, King Beasley, A’Siyah Scott, and Kennedi Scott; brothers, Peter Scott (Shelia), Thomas Scott (Barbara), and James McDaniel; sisters, Carolyn Hamlet (Derek) and Doris Williams; and many loving relatives and friends. Children, nieces, and nephews, we all love “Mama Dot”!
