Doris Schreckengost Blackmer, 85, of Forest, VA, died Friday, October 03, 2014, after a brief illness.
Born Dec. 3, 1928, Doris was a daughter of the late Floyd and Nettie Schreckengost, and a life time Erie resident.
Doris was a Geriatric Nurse and Administrator, earning a membership in ZONTA International Organization.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by a beloved daughter Janet C. Crouch on May 30, 2008, and three sisters: Ruby Lucas, Wilda Hellamn, and Romaine Spanko.
Doris is survived by two daughters: Nancy Trocha, of Nevada, and Jane Onderko and her husband, Wayne, of Virginia. Jane was her kind and loving care giver
