Donald Eugene Parr

Donald Eugene Parr, 82, passed away on December 10, 2025. He was born on March 16, 1943.

Donald was the son of the late Donald F. Parr and Ruthetta M. Parr. He is survived by his sisters, Gwendolyn H. Hawn and Deborah E. Sullivan.

Donald was married for 49 years to his first wife, Kathleen A. Parr, who passed away on January 23, 2013. He is survived by his current wife, Eileen J. Parr, with whom he was married for 11 years. He is also survived by his son, Bart T. Parr (Beth A. Parr), and his daughter, Holly A. Parr.

Donald enjoyed a varied career, including work as a Car Salesman at Shultz Chevrolet. He worked as an Outside Salesman for both Rental Uniform Service (Cintas) and Sketchley Uniforms. Later in his career, he was a Self-Employed Screen Printer and an Outfitter. He was an avid PSU fan and a 1961 graduate of Southwestern Mustangs High School. His personal interests included hunting, fishing, and wood carving.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to North Bedford Baptist Church, located at 4310 Coffee Road, Forest, VA 24551.

A service will be held at North Bedford Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11AM with a visitation one hour prior.
