Donald Luttrell, Sr.

Donald “Donnie” Mack Luttrell, Sr. was born on August 24th, 1967, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Mack “Don” Donald Luttrell (who passed in 2016) and Audrey Ann Luttrell (age 79).

Donnie passed away on February 20th, 2026, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Not only does he leave behind his mother, Audrey, he leaves behind two sons; Donald “Buddy” Mack Luttrell Jr. (21) and James “Peanut” Mitchell Luttrell (8). Additionally, he leaves behind three sisters; Debra (Debbie) Elliott, Katie Luttrell Torbert, and Shelley Luttrell Casey; one brother, Tad Luttrell; a brother-in-law, Gilbert Elliott; an aunt, Barbara Bennett; a niece, Lisa Arthur; a nephew, Hunter Elliott; and a great nephew, Brady Arthur.

I know there are other family members, cousins, uncles, aunts, etc. as well and I apologize if I missed your name. Donnie finally joins his lovely wife, Angela “Angie” Luttrell who just recently passed a few months ago; his father, Mack “Don”; his grandparents, James and Hazel Blankenship, his cousin, Frank Blankenship; along with other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg.
