Dewey Leon Comer, 67, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
Dewey was born on August 24, 1958, in Lynchburg, Virginia, a son of the late Rozelle Comer, Sr. and Margaret Hamlett Comer. Dewey was retired form the News & Advance after many years of service and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Wiggington Road.
He is survived by his three siblings: Alma Lucas, Rozelle Comer, Jr., and William Langhorne, Jr. all of Lynchburg.
A memorial service for Dewey will be held at a later date.
