Della Reese Crews

Della Reese Crews of Lynchburg passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Lynchburg General Hospital after a brief illness. Born on September 27, 1963, she lived with courage, resilience, deep faith in God, and devotion to her family.

She was the daughter of the late Betty and Dallas Crews Sr.

Della was preceded in death by her two sisters, Dorothy Crews and Brenda Crews; and brother-in-law, Gary Ware Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Darrylwin Crews, Mikel Crews (Johnna Laprade), and DeCarol Mosley; five grandchildren, D’quavey Crews, Azuri Smith, Amari Crews, Madison Crews, and Josiah Crews; sisters, Frances Ware and Joyce Crews; brother, Dallas Crews Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A celebration of Della's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026 at The Ramp Church, in Lynchburg. Interment will be held at the Baptist Cemetery.
